“Che fare con quella serie di gesti che mi distraevano dalle fughe del mio occhio viscerale, resti della mia antica vocazione artistica? La telecamera ha raggiunto l’obiettivo di contemplare passivamente il processo dell’opera, quel terzo occhio meccanico. Scoprivo il senso prammatico della vita captando ciò che di più imprendibile c’è in essa: la luce”.[1]

Objects, more than compilations of everyday life, are traces of a bygone time, of an exctinct reality linked to our present residual experience.

In the era of intimate relationship to objects and ownership, the on-going project ‘Add to my Library’, reflects linear processes of collective narratives into an open active space. Walter Benjamin’s writing ‘Unpacking my library’ where traditional processes of collection are deployed inspires this. It is a ‘living’ library that juxtaposes notions of ‘divine’ teaching with Internet coded language.
