Philippe Laferrière was born in Toulouse (France) where he studied at the École des Beaux Arts (1992-1995). He then studied History of Art and got a Master’s degree in Classical Archeology at the University of Aix-En-Provence (1995-1999). A research on the painting of the Macedonian Tombs brought him to Thessaloniki, where he worked for a long time in art conservation. He has also presented his paintings in solo exhibitions. Today, he still lives in Thessaloniki and dedicates his time in painting and music.
